Emergency Medicine / Acute CareBiography
Biography:
I am a Physician Assistant (PA) working as a provider in the Emergency Department as well as an acute care hospitalist. Before PA school, I lived a full career as a Firefighter / Paramedic with Sandy City Fire Department in the Salt Lake valley and 18 years as a Flight Paramedic with Intermountain Life Flight. My experience transporting patients from rural and critical access hospitals along with seeing the great care provided in those locations is what led me to become a rural provider. I am familiar with the unique challenges of medical care in rural locations and honored to be part of the solution to that challenge.
My wife is an RN for the Burn ICU at the University of Utah, and we have two teenage children and a very spoiled German shepherd. When I am not working, I enjoy most any activity outdoors, reading, or spending time with family. I am passionate about providing high quality and passionate care in any setting, especially with the team here at South Lincoln Medical Center.
