Registered Dietician PRN
The Registered Dietician facilitates the nutrition care process to provide individuals with quality medical nutrition therapy for common disease states and/or to promote optimal wellness.

Desired Education, Certifications and/or Experience
• Wyoming Registered Dietician Licensure or certification in accordance with practice requirement.
• Completion of ACEND accredited Didactic Program in Dietetics
• Experience in clinical dietetics, preferred.

Responsibilities / Functional Job Description

Role Specific: Work role responsibilities
1. Completes and documents nutrition assessment.
2. Assess and interpret nutrition-related lab values.
3. Identifies and documents nutrition diagnosis.
4. Identifies and implements appropriate nutrition interventions including quality nutrition education based on customer needs, expectations, and culture.
5. Monitors and evaluates individual nutrition outcomes related to nutrition, diagnosis, goals, interventions.
6. Communicates nutrition expertise with all appropriate healthcare providers.
7. Collaborate with other dieticians including referring patients to specialty-trained dieticians as appropriate.
8. Supports nutrition care across the LTC and Swing Bed patients.
