Diabetes & Nutrition
At South Lincoln Medical Center, we offer a Diabetes Education and Support Group. This group is for those with diabetes, young or old, newly diagnosed or experienced. If your loved one has diabetes you are welcome to join them too. Keep up with the newest trends for a happy healthier you!Our Diabetes Education and Support Group meets every 2nd Monday of each month at 5:00 pm in South Lincoln Medical Center's board room.
This class is sponsored by South Lincoln Medical Center and Lincoln County Public Health.

Tammy holds a Master's degree in Nursing. She developed and currently manages the Diabetes Self-Management Education and Support (DSMES) program in the Specialty Clinic at South Lincoln Medical Center. This program is recognized by the American Diabetic Association (ADA). Through this program Tammy offers 1:1 education classes and guidance for pre-diabetic individuals, Type 1 & 2 Diabetics, as well as Gestational Diabetes.
The mission of the program is to empower individuals with self-care management skills necessary to improve their quality of life.
