Location: South Lincoln Medical Center Board Room
Description: At South Lincoln Medical Center, we offer a Diabetes Education and Support Group. This group is for those with diabetes, young or old, newly diagnosed or experienced. If your loved one has diabetes you are welcome to join them too. Keep up with the newest trends for a happy healthier you! At this month's Diabetic Education and Support group, we will have the pleasure of Dr. Holly Seiler presenting: "Living with diabetes, what I need to know day to day". Holly has been living with Type 1 Diabetes for 37 years. She has a Master's Degree in Curriculum Development and Instruction, as well as a Doctorate in Professional Studies in Education. She is married to the other Dr. Seiler (who works at South Lincoln Hospital District). Together they are raising four kids, three of whom also have Type 1 Diabetes.

Event: Teen Dating Violence Awareness Month
Description: About 1 in 10 teens who have been on a date have also been physically abused by a boyfriend or girlfriend in the last year. Teen Dating Violence Awareness Month is a national effort to raise awareness and protect teens from violence.
